Seedarcomplete testing of the new F 60 batch grain drier

Seedarrecently completed testing the new F 60 batch grain drier. This drier is at the forefront of the movement towards high capacity continuous batch grain drying systems. The F 60 has been designed in response to greater demand for size options in large capacity batch grain driers. An automated F 60 drier offers hourly outputs comparable to continuous flow grain driers at a reduced level of capital investment while also retaining the benefits associated with recirculating batch grain driers.

The F 60 has a batch capacity of 60 tonnes (based on wheat at 20% mc and 74 kg/hal).  The model pictured is PTO driven with a Riello industrial oil burner. It incorporates Seedar’s standard specification including a full length furnace, galvanised critical areas and solid shaft drive system. It additionally features an aspirated grain cleaner, a galvanised roof and a customised intake auger arrangement.

The F 60 batch grain drier is a variant of the S 55, it has been made wider in order to significantly reduce the overall height of the machine.  The design of the drier incorporates several of Seedar’s latest design features including the use of twin 810mm centrifugal impeller fans to economically supply the huge volumes of air required for the drying and cooling process. The F 60 will offer the entire range of options that are available on the rest of the Seedarrange, including choice of fuels, drive options and filling and emptying options.
