ANDREW SMITH

Regional Sales Manager

Andrew is a farmer, haulier and mobile grain drying expert. He has worked with Stewart since 2003 and built up unprecedented practical application knowledge on the driers. He works in most aspects of the business including sales, on farm product training and technical support.

ANDREW JAMES

Service Technician

Andy has worked in agriculture his entire career. He is an experienced arable operator as well as a skilled technician. This background, knowledge and practical approach mean that he keeps our equipment up and running across the UK.

ANDREW HEWITT

Service Technician

Andy has a range of experience across arable contracting, vegetable processing and commercial haulage. He is a committed technician who understands the importance of keeping your equipment up and running.

HARLEY NICHOLLS

Service Technician

Harley joined SEED Agricultural Engineering as an apprentice in 2017. He is a HETA mechanical engineering apprentice and will be understudying senior technicians and learning the trade.

JAMES CHAPPELL

Engineering Manager

James, is a farmers son coming from a dairy background in South Yorkshire. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and brings vast technical and practical expertise to the company. As Operations Manager he manages the day to day work completed by the company as well as project managing large-scale and specialist projects.

DAVID SEED

Managing Director

David worked in engineering consultancy before moving back to support the growing family business in 2010. He is involved in all aspects of the company including sales, day to day operation management and technical support.

IAN DIXON

Project Site Supervisor

Ian joins us with over 10 years experience installing grain handling and processing equipment on some of the largest projects recently completed in the UK. His depth of knowledge and work ethic will keep our mechanical project delivery on time and on budget.

MATT WOODHEAD

Regional Sales Manager

Matt brings nearly 15 years of grain processing and storage equipment experience. Matt has worked on both service and sales of the industry and will be designing new plant systems for SEED Agricultural Engineering across Great Britain.

SARAH PRATT

Operations Administrator

Sarah trained originally with HSBC and has broad experience in a wide range of administration roles. Joining SEED Agricultural Engineering in 2012, she works as the Operations Administrator, planning, scheduling and managing workload; generally keeping everyone on the straight and narrow. If you call our office you will definitely speak to Sarah.

SARAH WILLIAMS

Accounts Administrator

Sarah has worked in various administration roles before joining SEED Agricultural Engineering in 2011. She is the Accounts Administrator and manages the stock control for our stores. In the past couple of years Sarah has received a crash course in power transmissions and electrical components.

SCOTT MCARTHUR

Regional Sales Manager

Scott, also from an engineering background, worked as a site manager on electrical and mechanical engineering projects. In 2011 he returned to SEED Agricultural Engineering bringing a wealth of technical expertise into the company. He works in every aspect of the business including sales, on farm product training and technical support.

SHANE STRINGER

Service Technician

Shane is currently training to become a coded welder. He works closely with the experienced staff broadening his engineering knowledge, technical skills and understanding of the mobile grain driers.

IAN HORNE

Service Technician

Ian is a highly qualified electrician and worked on grain processing and storage systems for well over 10 years. He will work closely with our mechanical installation teams completing new plants as well as managing the quality controls on new Seedarmobile grain driers.

DAVID AND CARMEL SEED

Chairman and Company Secretary

David and Carmel started importing Seedarequipment in 1999 but their history with mobile grain driers goes back much further. SEED Agricultural Engineering has grown at Council Farm and all three sons, John, Scott and Patrick have grown up surrounded by grain driers and chipped in from an early age. Stewart and Jane oversee the management of the company providing support wherever it is required.

TOM BARKER

Regional Sales Manager

Tom joined up in Autumn 2016. His previous roles have both been in the agricultural and food processing industry. He is the Regional Sales Manager for southern England and Wales and a specialist in our grain storage and monitoring products.

WALDEMAR ZIETEK

Fabricator

Wally is a high experienced coded welder from a farming background. He has extensive experience fabricating structural steel and also in the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.

MATT JAMES

Parts & Equipment Technician

Matt joined the company in 2018 and has quickly become an active member of the team. Working closely with Opearations Manager, Russell, to ensure that parts and equipment are read as and when required.

RUSSELL GILES

Operations Manager

Russell joins us from a full career in the British Army followed by management experience in large construction and logistics businesses. He is responsible for making the trains run on time and has the responsbilitily for the on time installation and commissioning for every new and used mobile grain drier the business sells and services.

LEWIS WRIGHT

Service Technician

Lewis joined the business in 2018 and has quickly become an invaluable member of the operations team. With a background in an HGV workshop he has an natural aptitude for technical work and is quickly improving his agricultural knowledge too.
